PheeNet HWL-PCIG/RL is an IEEE802.11g 54Mbps PCI Card with 2dBi Omni-directional dipole antenna that can be replaced with optional external antennas to obtain better signal quality and greater connection distances. It can be operated in Infrastructure or Ad-Hoc mode. HWL-PCIG/MV also supports wireless data encryption with 64/128-bit WEP, WPA, WPA2 enhanced security. Besides, it supports Windows 98/2000/ME/XP and user friendly configuration and diagnostic utilities.
The most special features comparing with old generation PCI is HWL-PCIG/RL has WMM (IEEE802.11e QoS) supported, which to meet the multi-media data bandwidth requirement.
